Good girl collective

The story behind Good Girl Collective

At the beginning of 2023, we found ourselves in a challenging situation. We both had jobs that drained our energy and creativity – which eventually affected our own mental health. The positive thing was that we met each other during this period and could share thoughts and experiences with one another. We both decided to quit our jobs without a plan for what would come next. For both of us, a secure job, stable income, and society's expectations were not more important than how we truly felt.

If there’s one thing we have in common, it’s that we love routines. We love optimizing our routines to be both efficient, aesthetic, and trendy. Sticking to these routines was absolutely necessary for us when things were tough. If you can relate, then you also know that a night-time routine is more than just getting ready for bed. It includes a skincare routine, a specific scented candle, while listening to a podcast (we love true crime), drinking water from our tumbler, and putting on a soft pyjama. The list goes on, and we love everything that makes our routines simpler, sweeter, and more practical.

We met in May 2023 for a coffee (with oat milk). Suddenly, we were discussing lifestyle products that we personally wanted but were difficult or impossible to find in Norway. It quickly dawned on us that we could find and produce these products ourselves, which surely many others also missed in their routines. That same day, we ordered the first product samples, and two weeks later, Good Girl Collective was established.

Our goal and vision were clear. First, we wanted to encourage everyone, especially girls, to stand up for themselves and make choices that are right for them, regardless of others' expectations. Second, we wanted to make trendy and beautiful lifestyle products available that make everyday life better and more efficient.

The first products were delivered in July, and 1000 items were squeezed into our small apartments. Just two weeks later, everything was sold out. The pace was fast and the learning curve steep, but it was absolutely amazing to see that so many people had missed the same products as we did. A lot has happened since we were packing 200 orders a day in the kitchen. We’ve now received over 10,000 orders, gained over 15,000 loyal followers on social media, and have over 40 of our own products in the online store.

We look forward to developing Good Girl Collective further, closely with our engaged and loyal customers – and creating the best products you need in your everyday life.
